Monte Cristo Sandwiches
1/4 lb Black Forest or Smoked Ham, Sliced Thin
1/4 lb Black Forest or Mesquite Turkey, Sliced Thin
4 Slices Sour Dough Bread
4 Slices Provolone or other Cheese
2 Eggs, beaten
1/4 Cup Milk
Assemble the sandwich as follows: Lay Bread out, top with cheese, turkey, cheese, ham, top with bread. Dip the sandwich in the egg/milk mixture. Fry in a hot skillet or on a griddle until golden brown on both sides. Can sprinkle with powdered sugar, dip in maple syrup or cranberry relish, or top with fresh strawberries.
(makes 2 sammies)

Great for Brunch!
Serve with Peppered Bacon, Fresh Fruit and Juice!
