Authorities want your help finding the man and woman they say stole from a car in a Fort Smith restaurant parking lot.

Security camera footage from around 11:30 p.m. on March 4 shows the couple leaving Benson’s Grill on Rogers Avenue. Shortly after, the man is seen jiggling the handles of some vehicles parked in the lot until he finds one that is unlocked. Police say the man took items from the vehicle.

Detective Edgar Mahan says he has faith the security footage will lead to their arrest.

“It's good video, it's nice and clear, it's in color,” the detective said. “So, you know, hopefully, we'll be able to find out who these suspects are.”
