Four people were arrested Monday after more than a pound of methamphetamine wrapped in duct tape was found under the hood of their vehicle in Siloam Springs.

Oscar Madrid, 26, Joseph Gaston, 32, Stacy Stenberg, 25, all of Tulsa, along with Teva McKinney, 34, of Locust Grove, are being held at the Benton County Detention Center on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Siloam Springs officers, along with Benton County narcotics investigators, stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation just west of city limits after receiving a tip.

Police say a K9 alerted on the vehicle and officers found 1.3lbs of a white crystal-like substance, which later tested positive for meth, under the hood of the vehicle.

Once at the jail, officers found a small baggie of suspected meth in Stenberg’s possession.
