The U.S. Geological Survey reports a magnitude 4.0 earthquake was felt in Oklahoma early Tuesday morning.
The U.S. Geological Survey indicates the quake hit at approximately 2:33 a.m. April 3.
According to the Geological Survey, the earthquake’s epicenter was approximately 15 miles southwest of McAlester, Oklahoma.
McAlester Police say they felt the tremor, but did not have any damage reports from the earthquake.
Residents in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma also reported feeling the quake.
