A few thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday evening as an upper level low pushes into the area. Overall severe weather risk remains low for the storms the evening, but small hail will be possible with any storms.
Typically with these upper level lows, temperatures higher in the atmosphere are very cold and usually lead to hail producing thunderstorms. We are not expecting wide-spread severe weather from this system but a few of the storms could produce up to quarter-sized hail.
High resolution models show isolated storms developing after 7PM lasting through the evening and winding down after midnight. A few wrap around showers will be possible Thursday morning as the low departs the area.
