Butterfield Junior High in Van Buren and the Crisis Intervention Center hosted “Walk a Mile in Her Shoes,” a tribute to Angela Allen and a violence awareness event. Allen, a Butterfield student, was found murdered in Lavaca on Feb. 17, 2012.
