Adams Leads Wright, Childs into the NFL

New York, N.Y.–Three more Razorbacks were selected in the final rounds of the NFL draft on Saturday. Joe Adams was the second Hog picked going in the 4th round to the Carolina Panthers. Teammates Jarius Wright and Greg Childs followed with each going to Minnesota in in the late 4th round. Wright and Childs have played together since high school in Warren, Arkansas.

Defensive end Jake Bequette, selected Friday in the 3rd round of the draft, will rejoin former teammate Ryan Mallett at New England.

The three Razorback receivers were part of Bobby Petrino’s first recruiting class at Arkansas.

Razorback linebacker Jerry Franklin and safety Tramain Thomas were not drafted.
