AC Units Stolen from Church

More than $6,000 worth of air conditioning units were stolen from a Fort Smith church, police say.

An officer was dispatched to the Calvary Lighthouse Church located at 3323 Blair around 10:20 p.m. Friday night in reference to a theft report.

Church Pastor Larry Gibbs told the officer that three AC units had been stolen from the outside of the church building.

Police say entry was made into the church itself. All lines to each AC unit were cut and the units were removed, according to the police report.

The pastor says an individual who cuts the church’s grass noticed the units were missing around 6 p.m. that evening.
