New Logo Revealed at Local Hospitals
New sign installed on Mercy of Northwest Arkansas in Rogers.
Residents will notice a new logo at several local hospitals. It’s part of Mercy Health System’s transition to one name and logo that will unify its facilities across seven states.
The new signage featuring a more contemporary Mercy cross is now up on the south end of its hospital in Rogers. To celebrate Monday, all Mercy co-workers in Arkansas wore shirts with the new logo.
While all of Mercy’s clinics and hospitals have been connected electronically, officials believe the different names have been confusing for patients.
On May 7th St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith will make the move to Mercy Hospital Fort Smith. Mercy of Northwest Arkansas in Rogers already made the switch from St. Mary’s when it moved to a new location in 2008. Earlier in 2012, St. John’s Hospital underwent the change and became Mercy Hospital Berryville.
