A Gentry Middle School teacher has been suspended.
Gentry Superintendent Randy Barrett says Blake Rhein, a physical education teacher at the middle school and coach for boys soccer at the high school, has been suspended but could not comment as to why.
Gentry police confirm they are investigating abuse allegations against a male teacher at the school but would not release that teacher’s name.
5NEWS has been contacted by several parents who say a school district employee physically abused their children.
Superintendent Barrett has recommended Rhein’s contract be terminated.
Rhein has only been with the school for a year.
