The Prairie Grove Police Department made three arrests in a church break-in after an honest father saw a Crime Stoppers report and called police.

The man saw a 5NEWS report Wednesday about computers and gaming equipment that was stolen from the AdventurePG church on Mock Street, a facility formerly occupied by Bighouse Youth Outreach. The father recognized some of the items as those he found in his teenage sons’ rooms.

Police arrested the two juveniles along with Shelton Hance, 18, on charges of commercial burglary and theft of property. Officials found items in Hance’s possession that are connected to other crime, and he faces additional misdemeanor theft charges.

Most of the items were recovered and will be returned to the owners, according to police.

Hance was booked in the Washington County Jail, while the two juveniles were taken to the Juvenile Detention Center.

AdventurePG is place for junior and high school students to hang out in a Christian environment, according to its Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/Adventurepg
