REPORT: Florida State Player Arrested at CWS in Omaha

Florida State freshman John Holland was arrested Monday evening and charged with shoplifting from a sporting goods store in Omaha, Neb., according to a report from USA Today.

He has been suspended indefinitely from the school’s baseball team.

According to the report, Holland, who has started at designated hitter in both of Florida State’s College World Series games, and his brother Steven Holland, 23, are suspected of changing the price tags on items in an attempt to purchase the goods for a lower amount, according to Omaha police.
