For many, playing on the field of Razorback Stadium is a dream come true.  And that’s just what the best high school players did in Thursday night’s All-Star Game.

“We came and watched him play a lot the last few years,” said Jeff Glover, who was cheering for his great nephew.  “We try to make every game that we can that he plays in.”

But between plays and timeouts, Glover was checking the score of the Razorback game in Omaha.

“We’ve been watching the Hogs every game.  That Baylor game, oh my goodness great game.”

Via cell phones and the internet, fans keep track of the Diamond Hogs while watching their loved ones on the field here at home.

“If the baseball team gets a championship you know that puts a goal for the football team to get a championship on their hands.”

But fans we spoke with say they never considered missing the All-Star game to watch the Hogs on TV.

I’ll travel long and far and through the night…day and night to watch him compete,” says parent David Sharp.

“We’ve been planning this, so we were gone come.”
