Two-Day Jobs Event to be Held in Fort Smith

The Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a two day event focused on helping those seeking jobs in the area.

The first event, “Learn to Impress,” will be held from 3 – 6 p.m., Monday, July 16, at the Fort Smith Convention Center Exhibit Hall B located at 55 S. 7th in downtown Fort Smith. The chamber will host one-on-one sessions on how to prepare for a job interview, fill out an application, prepare a resume, and how to dress for the job interview.

The second event will be a job fair from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, also in Exhibit Hall B.  The job fair is open and free to the general public. Representatives from corporate headquarters, industrial manufacturers, distribution centers, office sectors, hospitality and large commercial businesses will be on hand to accept job applications and interview prospective employees.  

Don’t fret about finding a babysitter while you interview for a new job opportunity. Entertainment and activities will also be available for kids and teens.
