People took to the streets of Fayetteville today for the Northwest Arkansas Pride parade.

People walked through downtown with signs, banners and flags.

The theme for this year’s parade was “Color Outside the Lines,” a celebration of the LGBT community.

Fayetteville Mayor Lioneld Jordan made a proclamation declaring June 24-30 “Pride Week” in the city.

Saturday's parade was in honor of Linda Wilson and Art Beeghly, two NWA Pride organizers who died in 2011.
