Man Dead in Watercraft Crash at Beaver Lake

Authorities are investigating the death of a Kansas man in a watercraft accident.

It happened Friday evening in the Hogcall Cove area of Beaver Lake, according to state Game and Fish authorities

Corey Larson, 33, died, officials said.

They said Larson and his best friend were riding personal watercraft when Lawson stopped abruptly in front of his friend, causing the collision.

It happened in Carroll County.

Game and fish officials will conduct a death investigation, and charges related to operating a watercraft are likely.
