Springdale to Allow Fireworks “Make-Up” Day

The city of Springdale will allow residents to shoot off their fireworks at a later date due to a fireworks ban during the Fourth of July holiday.

The city council and Mayor Doug Sprouse passed an ordinance Monday evening during a special meeting that will allow the public to shoot off personal fireworks Sunday, Sept. 2, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 3, from 11 a.m to 8 p.m. during the Labor Day holiday.
