A Van Buren woman was arrested over the weekend after she allegedly purchased K2, synthetic marijuana, for four juveniles and smoked it with them in her apartment, according to a police report.

Lisa Sandoval was arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and possession of drug paraphernalia Saturday evening at the Cedar Creek Apartment Complex on Fayetteville Road.

An officer was dispatched to the apartment in reference to a 15-year-old girl who was bleeding from the head. Dispatch advised the officer the girl “didn’t know who she was or where she was at,” according to a police report.

"She kept telling the paramedics she was too high, just too high, and she had been smoking," said Sandoval's neighbor Andrew Wallace.

The officer found the girl sitting on the steps to the apartment with a large amount of blood on her face and clothing.

Sandoval told police she had purchased the K2 in Oklahoma and brought it back to the apartment to smoke with the girl and three boys. According to the report, Sandoval said the girl threw up and fell, hitting her head on an entertainment center. EMS was called to the scene to treat the girl for her injuries, the report states.

"They brought out an ash tray and I guess whatever she had up there," said Wallace.

Police found a smoking pipe and rolling papers inside Sandoval’s apartment.

Sandoval was booked into the Crawford County Detention Center.
