Big Fun at “Fourth at the Field” at Arvest Ballpark

The Fourth at the Field celebration got underway at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale with one of the largest fireworks displays in Northwest Arkansas.

The evening was full of family fun events. There was ballpark food, arts and crafts and miniature golf.

It wasn’t just kids having a good time. There was live music and activities on the field for folks of any age.

The celebration is put on by the Walmart Visitors Center, which reminded us to remember why we celebrate Independence Day and to honor of service men and women.

“We are presenting a check to Operation Renewal, which benefits the families of soldiers who are about to go to war or coming home or who are there now,” said Alan Dranow of the visitors center.

Due to dangerously dry conditions there are banks against burning and using personal fireworks in many counties and cities.
