Man, 18, Dies in Franklin County Crash

An Ozark man died in a head-on collision today in Franklin County. The accident also injured twins from the Cecil community.

The Arkansas State Police said Brandon Kyle Wilson, 18, died in the accident about 6 a.m. on Highway 96 East near Cecil, according to a police report.

Wilson’s westbound Ford drifted into oncoming traffic and collided with an eastbound Dodge, driven by Cody Franklin.

Cody Franklin’s brother, Colby Franklin, was a passenger in the car. Both 22-year-olds were taken to Mercy Hospital, the report states.
