SPRINGDALE, Ark. — The Northwest Arkansas Naturals fell 4-1 in the series opener with San Antonio Sunday night at Arvest Ballpark.

The loss is the season-high seventh straight for Northwest Arkansas.

San Antonio never trailed in the game after taking the lead in the top of the third on a Reymond Fuentes double that scored two.

The game stayed 2-0 until the top of the seventh, when Mario Lisson  went deep for his eighth home run of the year, cutting the deficit in half to make it 2-1.

An inning later, the Missions got two insurance runs on a Nathan Freiman home run to left.

Keyvius Sampson is the tough-luck loser for the Naturals, going 6.2 innings, giving up just four hits.

The loss drops the Naturals to 41-45 on the season. The series with San Antonio continues Monday night. First pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
