Man Arrested in Pocola Drug Bust
Officers arrested a man Friday suspected of dealing drugs from his Pocola home.
Gary Foster, 58, was arrested at his residence on Maple Drive on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a radio scanner in commission of a crime.
More arrests are possible, according to Pocola Police Chief Steve Howard.
“There was a lot traffic centered on the drug trade out of that residence,” the chief said.
Chief Howard was not sure what kind of controlled substance was seized when a search warrant was executed.
The arrest comes after several complaints and tips from neighbors, according to the chief. He also added officers had been watching the house for a while.
Foster was arrested without incident, according to Chief Howard, and booked in the LeFlore County Jail on a $7,500 bond.
The investigation and arrest were a joint effort between the Pocola Police Department and the LeFlore County District Attorney’s 16th Judicial Drug Task Force.
