Drowning Victim Had History of Seizures
The body of Jeff Wall, 42, of Rogers was pulled from Beaver Lake this afternoon, authorities said.
Benton County dive teams located Wall’s body about 4:25 p.m. Friday, about two hours after he disappeared while swimming.
Family members of Wall cried and hugged as two divers recovered his body.
Deputy Doug Gay of the Benton County Sheriff’s Office says Wall was swimming with this wife near the Old Prairie Creek area, when he went under the water and didn’t resurface.
His wife called 911.
She said Wall had been under the water for at least 10 minutes when first responders arrived.
Officials said Wall knew how to swim and while they aren’t sure why he drowned, he had a history of having seizures.
Low visibility in that part of the lake made recovery efforts more difficult.
