Bond is set at $100,000 for a Springdale man accused of felony sex assault.
Francisco Javier Simental 20, had sex with a 15-year-old girl earlier this month, Springdale police said.
It happened on July 19, according to a police report. The girl said she crawled out her bedroom window without her parents’ permission and met Simental. They went to his apartment and had consensual sex, the girl told police.
Simental, of 1271 Bridgestone Ave. #102, faces a charge of fourth-degree sexual assault.
He was in the Washington County jail on Wednesday.
