Garrett’s Blog: Benton County Storms

A weak front that moved across Arkansas on Saturday night dropped temperatures and rainfall across Northwest Arkansas. Rain was limited to only Benton County but some rainfall totals were likely well over an inch on the south side of Beaver Lake.

The storms also downed trees and powerlines with winds recorded around 65mph in Bentonville and Pea Ridge. At one point over 1,000 people were without power. Slightly lower temperatures are expected for the upcoming workweek with highs in the mid 90s.
