Heavener Man Injured in House Explosion

A Heavener man was critically injured his home on West Ave D exploded Sunday night, according to a report from the Poteau Daily News.

Witnesses told the Poteau Daily News that the 38-year-old Hispanic man inside the home was propelled into his yard from the force of the explosion. Investigators believe the fire was caused by a stove in the man’s home. The home was destroyed. The man’s name has not been released. Click here to read the full story from the Poteau Daily News.
