Man Gets 6 Years For Sex With 14-Year-Old
A Bentonville man was sentenced to six years in prison Monday after pleading guilty to charges concerning sex acts with a 14-year-old girl.
Daniel Paul Combs, 36, pleaded guilty to fourth degree sexual assault and sexual indecency with a minor, said Van Stone, Benton County prosecutor. Stone said the two felony charges could have landed Combs behind bars for a maximum of 12 years without a plea deal.
Combs, who was arrested in March, also received a four-year suspended sentence that will start following his release from the Arkansas Department of Corrections, Stone said.
