A suspect kicked down the door of a Sebastian County convenience store early Tuesday, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies answered an alarm call at the Jenny Lind Express on Highway 71 south of Sort Smith around 3 a.m. When they got there they found the glass shattered on the front door of the business.

Workers at the store say it looks like the only thing taken was merchandise.

“Cigarettes mostly, that's about it as far as we've been able to tell so far, cigarettes, but a good quantity of cigarettes,” said Ruth Potter, a cook at the store.
