Razorback fans get their first look at the stadium’s new high-definition video board. The board's display is said to be one of the biggest in college football.

Red and white packed Razorback Stadium as the football team scrimmaged for Fan Day on Saturday.

It is the last time the public is going to be able to see the team practice before its season begins in September.

Watching the team play was not the only thing that had Hog fans excited Saturday. The new video board, measuring nearly 38 feet tall and 167 feet wide, gives the stadium a larger, high-definition display for video playback.

The university said the new video board is almost double the size of the old video display.

The new video board is part of a nearly $5 million stadium improvement project that includes new, state-of-the-art LED stadium identification signs, as well as new game clocks and play clocks at the north and south ends of the stadium.

The Razorbacks play their first game of the season at home in Razorback Stadium, Saturday, Sept. 1, against Jacksonville State.
