Garrett’s Blog: Rain Totals Look Promising For The Weekend

A series of disturbances will move into the area starting Friday and lasting into Monday with several rounds of scattered showers and thunderstorms possible.  

Currently, it’s looking like the heaviest rain will form from St Louis through Northwest Arkansas and back into Oklahoma City. The precipitation estimates are running around 1-2″ by the end of Sunday. 

A stronger disturbance should force the deeper moisture south and clear the atmosphere out sometime on Monday with drier and warmer weather expected for much of next week.
