Car Hits, Hospitalizes Man In Fort Smith

A man was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle in Fort Smith on Thursday night.

Police said the man was walking near the intersection of Albert Pike Avenue and Wirsing Avenue when he was hit by a gray-colored car.

Emergency crews responded at 8:35 p.m. and rushed the man to the hospital. The extent of his injuries are not known at this time.
