Shiloh Christian graduate Kiehl Frazier has been named the starting quarterback at the University of Auburn as a sophomore. Frazier played in all 13 games last year and was third on the team in rushing. Frazier has been in a battle with teammate Clint Moseley all fall camp long for the starting spot, but head coach Gene Chizik made it official on Thursday; Frazier is number one on the depth chart.

“We expect Kiehl to be a leader for this team and to continue to work hard every day,” said Chizik. “I am confident in his ability and leadership skills and look forward to watching him progress in both areas.”

Frazier was the USA Today Offensive Player of the year for Shiloh Christian in 2010.
