Police arrested a Rogers man early Thursday morning on suspicion of stabbing his wife with a kitchen knife.
Police responded to the home of Raschaan Pierre on North D Street and found his wife Anita with four stab wounds to the abdomen, according to the Rogers Police Department.
A police report says Raschaan reported the incident, but fled the scene before officers arrived. Officers believe Raschaan, 39, stabbed Anita, 48, with a kitchen knife, the report says.
Officers later found and arrested Raschaan in connection with felony first-degree domestic battery. He remains in the Benton County Detention Center on $100,000 bond.
Anita was rushed to Mercy Medical Center in Rogers and taken to surgery.
