Police arrested a Springdale man they say raped an 11-year-old girl.
Alfredo Flores-Borquez was arrested Tuesday by Springdale police. He remains in the Washington County Detention Center on $25,000 bond.
The victim told police Flores-Borquez was sleeping in the living room of her apartment with her when the alleged rape occurred, according to a preliminary arrest report.
When officers approached Flores-Borquez, he was at the same apartment with the alleged victim’s two siblings. He denied the accusation, then told police he did not remember the incident fully because he had been sleeping.
