Charleston QB Writing Own ‘Storey’
Sophomore quarterback Ty Storey is wasting little time putting his mark on the tradition rich Charleston football program.
Storey threw for a school record 567 yards and another school record seven touchdowns in the Tigers’ 52-21 win against Gentry.
The Tigers were also breaking in a new artificial turf playing surface and it was put to the test quickly. Kickoff was delayed more than two hours after power went out at the stadium. The game was not completed until after midnight.
Storey did not throw an interception but he provided an interception on defense.
Charleston will host Ozark in a battle of 2-0 teams on Friday.
