Fort Smith shoppers will have a new venue to check out this weekend.

Brick City Emporium located at 3215 S. 74th Street next to Hank’s Fine Furniture will hold its grand opening at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Housed in the old Kmart location, the store will feature booths for 150 vendors selling everything from pottery, artwork and photographs to kids and women's clothing.

“It has a whole array of products that are either handmade or have a creative eye for wholesale to retail and just a great place for people to come shop all under one roof,” said owner Sara Adams.

The unique shopping concept will offer maximum exposure for local artist and entrepreneurs, according to Adams.
