Hartman Man Arrested in Stabbing Incident
A weekend stabbing lands one man in the hospital and another behind bars.
Michael Frederick Belosic, 44, was arrested on battery charges Sunday after he allegedly stabbed 34-year-old Jeremy James Walker during an altercation.
The two men got into a fight earlier in the day at a residence on Highway 64, according to a report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. Belosic left, but returned around 4 p.m. with a knife and another argument ensued, the report states.
Belosic stabbed Walker in the left shoulder on the back, police said. Both men were treated at local hospitals for injuries sustained in the fight.
Belosic was booked into the Johnson County Jail on a $25,000 bond. He is expected to be arraigned on Nov. 2.
