Three suspects in a meth lab busted over the weekend bonded out of jail in Madison County.

Kenneth Pickens, Marty Ray McChristian and Kathy Jean Whorton were released from the Madison County Detention Center on Monday morning. Charles Lee Estep remains in jail on $3,500 bond, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies executed a search warrant at a property on Arkansas Highway 127 in Madison County on Saturday, finding four loaded rifles and drug paraphernalia used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. Authorities also found cold packs, coffee filters, plastic tubing, propane tanks and chemicals used in the manufacture of methamphetamine, according to the sheriff’s office.

McChristian was arrested at the scene. Deputies also arrested Estep, Pickens and Whorton after a short car chase near the property in which sheriff’s office said the suspects threw Sudafed out the window.

Custody of a child at the scene was transferred to the Department of Human Services.
