Tyler Wilson Looks Good in Practice But Still Questionable
According to the coaches Tyler Wilson did everything he normally would at practice Tuesday. His energy and passion were greater than they’ve been all year and the guy so badly wants to lead Arkansas on Saturday evening against Rutgers.
Wilson is still questionable for the game however. The good news is he took 50 percent of the snaps at practice Tuesday. The other backups split the other 25 percent. That alone is a good sign but this thing isn’t over yet. Wilson has to take more concussion tests. The game is still four days away and he has made a lot of progress in the last week, so fingers are crossed.
“I thought he looked great (today),” said offensive coordinator Paul Petrino. “He was on fire. His arm was fresh and hot. He looked really good.”
“Tyler looked just like his old self,” said wide receiver/ quarterback Brandon Mitchell. “It’s just a matter of you never know how long it takes someone being out dealing with a concussion.”
