Woman Accused of Stealing Wallet at Gas Pump

A woman is accused of stealing a wallet out of a vehicle while the driver stopped for gas, now Van Buren officers are trying to identify the suspect.

The theft occurred at the S&S Super Stop in Van Buren. The victim told police while she was pumping gas, the suspect opened her passenger side door and stole her wallet out of the vehicle.

The suspect then walked past the victim and left in a white extended cab Chevrolet S-10 pickup with a black toolbox in the bed, according to a police report.
