Rogers police are searching for a man they say hit women with blow darts from his car while driving by.

Leigh-Ann Archuleta, 19, was hospitalized Sept. 21 after being hit in the neck by a dart. She was standing outside her home when witnesses heard a loud “pop.”  A dart was sticking out of Archuleta’s neck a moment later, police said.

Archuleta was transported to Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, where the dart was removed, according to the Rogers Police Department.

Another Rogers woman, Katia Banel Flores, was hit by a dart Wednesday. Flores, 21, told officers she was leaving the Kohl’s department store when a car stopped to let her cross the crosswalk. Flores crossed before being hit in the back with a dart, she told police.

Emergency Medical Services checked Flores out, but she was not hospitalized.

The darts used seem to be the kind used in a blow gun, police said.

The Rogers Police Department is investigating. Police are asking anyone with information to call the police department.
