Couple Arrested After Allegedly Stealing Laptops

Two people were arrested in Oklahoma in connection with a theft at the Walmart in Van Buren.

Police say Shawn Ross and Stacy Gibson went into the store on Sept. 18 and stole two laptop computers worth nearly $1,400. The two were last seen leaving in an orange Dodge Avenger with a concealed license plate, according to a police report.

The duo was arrested on felony theft charges in Sallisaw just before noon Friday. They will be transported to Crawford County upon waiver of extradition.
