Fayetteville Man Accused of Sexually Assaulting Three Juveniles

Fayetteville police arrested a 20-year-old man Monday night on suspicion of sexually assaulting two juvenile girls and a juvenile boy, according to a preliminary report from the Washington County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

Luke Williamson of Fayetteville was booked into the Washington County Detention Center Tuesday at 9:04 a.m. and faces a felony charge of 2nd-degree sexual assault, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office webiste.

Williamson approached the juveniles near 682 Martha Ave., the report states. Standing behind one girl, he touched her breasts and groin, and then also pressed himself against the second girl, the report states. He stood beind the second girl and touched her breasts, according to the report.

In addition, Williamson tried to reach into the boy’s pants, but his hand was pushed away, and then he touched the boy’s groin outside of his pants, the report states.

Police arrested him at 8:20 p.m. near 775 W. Sycamore on a walking trail. 

During an interview with investigators, the suspect acknowledged knowing one of the girls was 14 years old, the report states. He said he had sexual desires for one of the girls, according to the report.
