Tyler Wilson Involved in Vehicle Accident, Uninjured
Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson was involved in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday morning on Interstate 540 and was uninjured, officials said.
Wilson was driving north on the interstate near Exit 66 at Garland Avenue and had to “brake sharply” because of traffic ahead, according to an Arkansas State Police report. As a result, a Chevy Express Van behind Wilson’s Toyota FJ Cruiser rear-ended the football player’s vehicle, the report states. The van was driven by Dustin Whitmill of Spectrum Paint, according to the report.
After impact, Wilson’s vehicle traveled into the median and struck the divider cables, the report states. After the accident, Whitmill pulled into the median out of the way of traffic, according to the report.
There were no reported injuries, and no one was transported to the hospital.
Wilson is expected to practice Tuesday afternoon, UA officials said.
