Step Up, Speak Out Block Parties Held Tonight

Step Up, Speak Out will continue its grassroots effort to raise community awareness about child abuse with “block parties” Wednesday evening.

From 5-7 p.m. on Oct. 10, events will be held at the following locations in Fort Smith: Martin Luther King, Jr. Park
Spradling Elementary School
Girls Inc.
Evans Boys & Girls Club

Each location will feature a speaker discussing child abuse prevention, as well as free food, entertainment, kids’ activities, t-shirts, and prizes.

Residents are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and show their support for children in the community.
