Fight Back this Halloween with “Zombie Paintball”

Most of us have experienced haunted houses and haunted hayrides.  As a fan of Halloween, I've always enjoyed these frightening fall traditions.  What I am not a fan of is the fact that I can't defend myself.

If a man is chasing after me with a chainsaw, you can guarantee I want to throw a branch down and make him trip. The same goes for those awful clowns who pop out of corners in haunted mazes.  I've gone through dozens of haunted events, and my inability to "interact" with the costumed creeps has always annoyed me.  They're allowed to scare me, so I've always felt I should have an opportunity to do the same to them.

My problem is one that a local group is hoping to solve.  The Benton County Fair Grounds has a special event going on this Halloween season allowing riders of a haunted trail to use paintball guns to shoot zombie attackers.

According to the Benton County Fairgrounds website, $15 gets riders a seat on an interactive ride along with nine other Zombie Terminators armed with approximately 75 flesh eating paintballs.

The Zombie Blaster is mounted to the ride giving zombie hunters a range of motion necessary to annihilate  any and all zombies they see.

The hunt takes place at the Benton County Fairgrounds, located off Hwy. 12 near XNA Airport.  Hours of operation are posted below.  Zombie Hunters can experience the hunt every weekend until Sunday November 4.  All I can say is: Revenge will be sweet.

Hours of Operation:

Thursday: 6 p.m. - 11 p.m.

Friday: 6 p.m. - 1 a.m.

Saturday: 6 p.m. - 1 a.m.

Sunday 6 p.m. - 11 p.m.
