Recent rain and cool overnight temperatures have helped create more fall colors in the area, especially in Northwest Arkansas.
According to Arkansas Fall Foliage update, Maple trees in much of Northwest Arkansas are reaching their color peak now. The peak of colors will continue in Northwest Arkansas through the end of October.
Fall colors are lagging behind south of I-40 into theOuachitas. Peak colors in the Ouachitas will occur in early November.
