Fayetteville Man Brought Kids To Drug Deals, Police Say
A drug sting by local law enforcement landed a Fayetteville man behind bars Thursday.
A confidential informant working for the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force bought more than 25 grams of marijuana from Adam Jacob Jorge, 22, while Jorge brought his children along. The informant wore a recording device, according to a preliminary report from the Washington County Prosecutor’s Office.
Jorge was later arrested during a traffic stop in Fayetteville. When police searched his home, they found Tupperware containing more than 29 grams of marijuana in plastic baggies, as well as eight Diazepam pills, the report states.
The drugs were within reach of Jorge’s children, police said.
Jorge was released Friday from the Washington County Detention Center on $3,910 bond.
