Fourth Shooting Suspect Arrested
Washingon County Sheriff deputies arrested the fourth suspect in a shooting near West End Apartments in Fayetteville on June 4.
Keon Plummer, 21, was arrested Friday afternoon and charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault. He is being held on $101,655 bond.
Three other suspects in the shooting were arrested by Fayetteville police on June 5.
A Fayetteville police report said the incident happened when one car passed another on Wedington Drive and then made a U-turn to follow the car to a duplex at 1218 North West End Avenue. Police said the occupants of the car that made the U-turn got out of the vehicle and one man fired several shots with a chrome pistol.
The shots struck an apartment unit at the nearby West End Apartments.
Police arrested the man it said fired the shots, Martez Deunta Butler, 22, of Fayetteville, the morning after the shooting. Butler was charged with two counts of attempted capital murder, 10 counts of aggravated assault, two counts of a terroristic act and one count each of being a felon in possession of a firearm and engaging in violent criminal group activity.
Aaron Jamal Walton, 20 of Springdale, and Derrick Remo Doolittle, 23, of Fayetteville, were charged with being accomplices.
