Megan Davis, 17, and Geddon Kennedy, 12, remain at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Pinnacle Hills Cross Church is offering support through its student ministry to the victims and their classmates.

Cross Church Student Pastor Chuck Butler said that even though the two Bentonville students aren't affiliated with Cross Church, the student ministry has them in their prayers.

"Whether or not they are physically involved with our student ministry or our church, it involves our community and we want to be a part of the community,” Butler said.

“I feel like that's one of our roles is to always be aware," Butler said.

Davis was hit by a school bus on October 4TH when crossing P and 14th streets and Kennedy was struck by an SUV on October 18TH while crossing Central Avenue.

Both accidents happened right after school within several miles from each other.

"We want to be a source of prayer for those families, for those students, and when possible reach out to those families whether they are involved in our student ministry or not," Butler said.

Butler said his ministry has several students who go to Washington Junior High and Bentonville High School, which is where Kennedy and Davis go to class.

"As they are affected, we try to be ready because we know that as it affects their daily life, as they go to school, as the student minister, as the church, we want to rally around them too," Butler said.

Butler said in those at Cross Church will keep praying for the affected families.

"We'd love to be able to minister to the families and friends as we can and the students that are involved in our ministry that do know those students,” Butler said.

Davis' condition is upgraded from serious to good and Kennedy's condition was also upgraded to fair.

Megan Zandra Davis' family has set up the Facebook Page Prayers for Megan.
